Teachers engaging in Sustainability

EXPECTATIONS OF MASTER TEACHING FELLOWS

Master Teaching Fellows (MTFs) who complete the program will have a new ability to engage students in STEM learning, a real connection to the region’s scientific community and opportunities, as well as the training to lead colleagues and community members into an accessible and engaged understanding of environmental sustainability. To reach this level of professionalism, MTFs are expected to engage in all meetings and activities as outlined in the five-year schedule.

Each participant is developing a portfolio that includes specified products and artifacts from activities, and a record of accomplishments. These will be identified as the program progresses.
