Andrew Morgan

Andrew Morgan is a physical science teacher at Freeburg High School and previously taught at Waterloo High School. He joined the SIUC Noyce- A Community of Problem Solvers MTF Program in 2013 and was involved in a long-term research project on learning outcomes from a problem-based learning activity on cloud-seeding. He aligns his classes to the NGSS and took two professional development workshops on NGSS through the ROE and instructional services. In 2016, Andy received the 2016 Sigma Xi outstanding teacher award. He also served as one of the four mentors to pre-service teachers from SIUE in a partnership grant. He is currently a member of the Teacher Advisory Board to the new SIUC Noyce- River Region Sustainability MTF Program.
