Regenna Biermann

Regenna teaches at Marion Junior High School. She has been with the SIUC Noyce- A Community of Problem Solvers MTF Program for four years where she actively participated in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 SRET (Summer Research Experience for Teachers) and partnered with several Noyce MTF. She has attended several professional development activities focusing on content knowledge in math and science and participates in developing and providing professional activities for other teachers. Her experience in the Noyce program encouraged her using research in curriculum development and learning strategies. She also served as one of the five mentors to pre-service teachers from SIUE in a partnership grant and is currently a member of the Teacher Advisory Board to the new SIUC Noyce- River Region.
